Chapter 1 =========================
He felt uncomfortable with what happened earlier on. If not for the man saving him, he could have been far more embarrassed and injured himself. He had the overwhelming desire to see him again and when he turned around, the man was already gone.
“Have we met before? Now he’s gone.” whispered Jaejoong.
But the man had moved on to another gallery, annoyed at the snub he got from the beauty. The desire to see him again was strong but he couldn’t locate the beauty. Soon enough, an announcement was made through the museum’s public address system that all guests are kindly requested to head over to the banquet hall for the dinner and entertainment.
“Will I see him later?” the man asked himself.
“Will I see him later?” asked Jaejoong.
As the two of them entered the hall from separate entrances, each of them headed to their table, as indicated on the invitation card. But as fate would dictate, both their name tags were placed facing each other. Jaejoong arrived first, followed by Yunho and both were shocked to meet again.
“Kim Jaejoong?” asked Yunho with a smile. Jaejoong nodded.
As they sat down, Yunho said, “I believe we’ve met before somewhere.”
“Really? Where?” wondered Jaejoong.
“I can’t remember where but I remembered that I had an accident on the stairs and that you had a smirk on your face. Do you remember where?”
“Oh! That was at the High Court! You were leaving the court as I climbed up the stairs and you lost balance after that. It was amusing.” giggled Jaejoong. Yunho gave a gentle smile, silently protesting at his mockery of that incident.
Since they sat facing each other, their eye contact hardly wavered during the entire event, other than being interrupted from their various clients wanting to greet them and seeing what was being presented on stage. At one stage, Jaejoong had to excuse himself and a short while later, Yunho followed. Now, anyone who had noticed the two of them would have wondered what were they going to do.

He rushed his way to the toilet, needing to use the men’s room urgently, after holding on for as long as he could. After relieving and cleansing himself, he felt better and was startled by a lone figure standing near the door, reflected on the mirror.
“Surprised?” asked the man.
“What are you doing here? Why are you following me?” he asked.
“Because I want to.”
“Why?”
“Because I want to see you.”
“Why?”
“Because there’s tons of ‘because’ I can’t say in front of you.”
“Why?”
“Because…” he inhaled deeply. “… I think I fell for you?”
“Why do you think you fell for me?”
“Because there’s no one else who had a greater impact on me than you do.”
“Why not anyone else?”
“Because I have no interest in anyone else but you.”
“Why don’t you go away?”
“What if I say no? Can you stop me?” he asked. Jaejoong stood there, pondering. The obvious answer was a no.
“If you can excuse me.” he tried to make his way out.
A strong pair of hand held him back and just then, he got dragged into a toilet cubicle, where he got his first kiss.

I'm suffering from missing you

He was stunned by what had happened. He felt molested by the kiss but secretly enjoyed it. He wanted to savour it more but had to act cool about it. Immediately he repelled away from him and ran back to his seat in the ballroom. The remaining hours of the event was agonising for him as his kisser came back to the table they were sitting. The kisser, looking at his victim’s obvious discomfort was pleased.
After the event ended, Jaejoong stayed back to chit chat with some of his clients and acquaintances he knew, hoping that the man who had kissed him would go away. But he didn’t. Instead, he lingered near the exit, wanting to trap his victim even further. Later, he approached his predator.
“Will you leave me alone?” asked Jaejoong, visibly annoyed.
“No.” came the reply.
“Why?”
“I want to spend the night with you, knowing you better.”
“There are ways of knowing me better on other days.”
“I know. But I want to do it tonight.”
Jaejoong was gob smacked and left, heading for the car park. Yunho trailed him from behind.
At the car park, he got into his car and turned on the engine. The engine roared to life but a short while later, it died. He tried repeatedly to turn it on without success. Yunho, was standing close to his own car, looking. He went to Jaejoong's car and knocked on its window. The window was brought down and Yunho leaned on the car’s ledge, kissing Jaejoong once again.
“What’s up cupcake? Having problems with your car?”
“What do you think?” Jaejoong asked as he started his engine again. The car died soon after. Feeling angry, he whacked the steering wheel.
“Give up and let me send you home.”
Reluctantly he left the car and joined Yunho in his car, thinking that he will be brought back home.

I almost decided not to post this chapter as I was immensely upset with the death of my favourite director, Yasmin Ahmad, who directed several movies and TVCs.
Her death is really a great loss to the Malaysian film industry as her movies had gone international, with huge fans in Malaysia and Singapore. The movies she directed had a deep meaning to it and there's no one of her calibre. She's the one and only Yasmin Ahmad. Even my mum was her admirer and commented that she's one great director.
To my Malaysian readers, I'm wondering if her latest movie, Talentime, is out on DVD/VCD? If so, please tell me because I haven't had the opportunity to watch Muallaf and Talentime. What I know is that Muallaf is banned by FINAS (the Malaysian censor board), which is lame.
RIP and Al Fatihah for her.
PS: I wrote an entry about her as part of my weekend's summary, which is friend locked. If you wish to read my journal entries, there's the Add them as a friend button.
