Boxing Day
I wonder why did I bothered myself coming back to work when I could have ask for off. I could have pleaded exhaustion but I did not. I chose to immerse myself in work because I want the upcoming audit checks to pass and having the experience to know how an audit check on the logistics side works.
2WO Anna, the RQMS from one of the other camps did a check on the store's documents and highlighted the missing details and what needs to be rectified. By the time she finished going through them, I had heartburn upon realising the details. 2WO Toh, our own RQMS couldn't say anything. To make things worse, fever said hello to me, giddiness dropped by for a visit and for temporary relief, medicated oil was in high demand. All of us suffered ailments in various forms which modern medicine could provide temporary relief. I don't have to elaborate what's the appropriate treatment.
I'm feeling sick as I type this and in need of good sleep. I have GA duty tomorrow and I asked someone to take over me after lunch. Since I'm on leave on next Monday and Tuesday, I'm returning back so that when I stay away on 31st December, the necessary paperwork that needs to be completed or at least, rectified is completed. I'm so going to ask for 7 days off with the relevant authorities each.
