Thought I'd Share This Moment
I'm having my first cup of coffee in the middle of the living room floor of my *new* apartment. I've been moving in and getting settled since Monday, and I'm finally almost done. Just need to go get my couch.
I'm still located in Tigerland. I live in Villa Franche on Bob Pettit. Now I'm even closer to Cory's, or Akasha's now. Call me crazy, but I love Tigerland and being affectionately nicknamed "Tigerland Trash." Hey, I'm sure it's better than living in one of those high-rise condo developments with personal tutors and indoor swimming pools and rent at $4732098653 a month....that has to suck.
Anyway, I love my apartment! And I think I'm really gonna like living alone. I love my old roomates. Don't get me wrong. Mackenzie is the greatest, and I would love living with her, but I felt like I needed to do this so I can focus better in school and become a more productive member of society. Living with Mackenzie would be TOO much fun, haha!
The Moms left around 7:30 this morning. She came down to buy me a bunch of stuff and help me settle in. She's such a great lady. We had margaritas last night.
So yeah, if you're in Baton Rouge, come visit! I'll make some coffee with my *revolutionary* coffee pot. It's amazing!
