trying to find a polyphonic ring tune that i like for my new phone, i was utterly irritated by how the idiots who make the ringtones make them without understanding the music they try to replicate. there was a most ridiculous, cartoon-like version of orff's carmina burana theme, the danse macabre sounded like it was being played at a country fair, and they not only called beethoven's moonlight sonata "moonlight serenade", they also thought that the harmonisation was the melody! grrr.
