What's Your Earliest Memory:
I think my earliest clear memory is when I was about four or five and I had taken my dad's hammer and some nails and slipped onto the porch of our apartment. I started hammering the nails haphazardly into the side of our apartment building. My mom was home, but she must have been busy with something because she didn't realize I was out there until the banging started. She scolded me and I told her I was just being like daddy (my dad was an electrician and I spent a lot of childhood years going around with him to various stores [ he was an electrician with Waffle House and had several stores he serviced ] and watching him work, often helping him as I got older) and when my dad came home and she told him, he just laughed and told me not to do that again because I could have hurt myself with the hammer and/or nails, even though for a kid I didn't pretty well. XD
