It is already August, meaning school is on the horizon. Not ready to go back yet, my laziness demands more to be satisfied.
I've continued with my Duolingo to learn spanish, already nearing a 180 day streak. I'm impressed with myself for sticking to it for so long.
Nothing on the dating landscape, but I didn't expect anything. Have not had any dream related to it either, though the memory from the February dream is still strong.
Been playing a lot of games. Valheim with a friend has been a blast. Doing some more work with Final Fantasy Free Enterprise. Doing some ladder races, some 2v2 races (found a nice guy for a race partner, we've been working well), Mario Golf, replaying Breath of the Wild, progressing through Age of Calamity, restarted a Stardew Valley game and got through year 2, mining in Deep Rock Galactic, and playing plenty of other games. I've been enjoying my times in those games.
Have done some reading too. Found a novel about the Rise of Kyoshi from the Avatar the Last Airbender series. Was really good. Was pleased to find that there was a sequal released and I am currently reading through that.
Sometimes I feel this has been a very unproductive summer, but after the choas of last year and looking ahead to the chaos of teaching 4 different classes this upcoming year I think having all of this down time will be very worth it.
