Summary: Just some AU head canon that I have. Kind of a take on nerd!Blaine and Cheerio! Kurt. Not only is Blaine a good kid, but he's deeply religious, really involved in his church, never wants to disappoint his parents, hates these thoughts he has about guys etc etc. Kurt's the cheerleader who's popular and openly gay and makes Blaine question everything. Mostly I just love Blaine angst, but who among us doesn't?
The locker room always smells like this after gym class and it makes Blaine wrinkle his nose. He hates it in here, but not just because of the sour smell. All around him are guys, half naked and wet and slapping each other on the back. He concentrates on untying his gym shoes, never taking his eyes off the floor.
He always drags this part out. Checks his backpack a few times for a book he doesn’t need, looks down at his phone at texts he never got. He keeps himself busy until the last guy leaves the room, rubber soles squeaking on the tile floor, before he dares to lift his head up and look around.
He finally peels the sweaty shirt off of his back and tosses it into his locker, ready to take a shower with burning hot water so he can feel something, when he hears a door shut.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t think anyone was in here,” Kurt says, dressed in his white and red Cheerio uniform. Blaine quickly turns his head back to his locker, eyes down once again.
“No, it’s okay,” Blaine mumbles. He watches at Kurt walks over to a row of red lockers, gets caught up in watching his fingers twirl out the combination. Blaine’s eyes drift lower, studying the lines of Kurt’s body.
“I usually wait until all the guys have left before I come in here to change. We’re all friends, but there’s only so many times you can hear Noah Puckerman make the same joke about wanting to see him naked,” Kurt trails off with a laugh. Blaine looks at the way Kurt’s uniform clings to his body, tight in the waist and thighs. He shouldn’t be thinking this, it’s wrong, but he can’t help himself. It’s the same thoughts that keep him awake in his bed at night.
Kurt gets his the locker door unlocked, metal banging loudly when it opens. Blaine watches Kurt closely, watches how his arms flex in the tight fabric when he reaches into his locker.
“Can I kiss you?” Blaine says, the words tumbling out on their own. He should’t want this, he knows he shouldn’t, but he can’t stop himself.
“Really?” Kurt asks, mostly confused but also a little bit amused.
“Please,” Blaine whispers. His finger tips feel numb and his chest feels tight.
“Okay,” Kurt says and presses his back against the lockers. Blaine walks over slowly, takes his time studying Kurt’s face. He finally takes a huge breath, fills his lungs with air until it feels like they’re going to explode, before he puts their lips together.
The kiss is like everything he thought it would be and nothing like it all at once. It’s more than he thought, more than he hoped for. He hears ‘pray for…and at the hour…amen’ in the back of his head.
The kiss breaks something inside of Blaine, sets something free. He feels raw and open and like his insides are breaking.
Blaine places sloppy kisses along Kurt’s neckline, teeth scraping over his Adam’s apple. He grabs onto the bottom of Kurt’s uniform top and pulls it up until his fingers are twisted, his knuckles turning white.
Blaine moves down slowly. His mouth presses against Kurt’s fabric-covered shoulder, open and warm, before dropping to his knees.
“Jesus Christ,” Kurt hums. Blaine has Kurt’s top pushed up so far that the bottom three rows of ribs are showing.
Blaine feels the line of hair on Kurt’s lower stomach with his tongue and absently thinks that the last time he was on his knees he was praying in church.
