I was glad to send Alex off to nursery on Wednesday morning, but we still managed to have an argument over lunch. After that it was off to the folk hall for a meeting with NELLI, and our newbie turned up and seemed quite interested. It just shows how addled I am by lack of sleep that I forgot to tell anyone else she was coming! Alex was OK at the meeting and it was quite productive, just a round of the fair and a what shall we do next thing. We came home after a romp round the play ground, and Simon was back not long after us. He and Alex went out in the garden while I did dinner, and managed not kill each other, thought Alex did hit his own hand with a hammer. After I put Alex to bed I walked over to the Folk Hall to be put through my paces by Cath, along with Liz and one other. I was amazed that I managed to keep up, though I did opt out of the star jumps as I don't think me ankle could take it. I am also only vaguely sore and stiff when stretching today.
Mum has been over this morning so I could go off to the Osteopath and get some bits in York. Mum bought Meg, as she didn't want her left home alone due to having to take the new dog back. Jack seemed to be fitting in well, but he gets obsessive over food and viscously attacked Meg, twice, so that a no go. Its a real pity.
I ended up running round York like a blue arsed fly, then having 20 minutes to kill, which turned out to be quite useful as there was a council information thing around crime in St Sampson's square, and I got talking to the community payback people, and we might have a use for them in some of our NELLI schemes. Its an interesting idea and hopefully the other will feel its worth pursuing. I've not seen Will for 8 weeks, rather then the usual 6, and I'm not actually in all that bad a shape, especially considering last night's exertions!
Mum left at 14:30 and Alex and I have been trying to cook, rather unsuccessfully as he couldn't help as much as I thought he would be able too, and we've been painting on his aqua doodle, killing time until Daddy got back, then its been gardening for them again and cooking for me, and no new arguments. I am just hoping tonight I don't wake up at 5:30 and not be able to get to
