Simon is at home today, awaiting a screw fix delivery. When it arrives he plans to turn off the central heating and disconnect and replace 2 of our downstairs radiators for double ones. Its the coldest part of a really harsh winter, a perfect time to start buggering about with the central heating!! This is partly because it has taken the house 3 days to warm back up this week after we turned it right down over xmas to kill off any remaining fleas that might be hanging around. The house is now perfectly warm and fine, but Simon has decided we need double radiators!
Yesterday I had to get the bus into town to see the Osteopath and the service was awful. After 30 minutes it eventually turned up, and was full of over excited school kids who had been let out early. After giving me lip for my hat they seemed surprised when I pointed out they were all a load of un-original morons. Its almost like they expect you to ignore it when they insult you! Maybe I wasn't using enough swear words for them to able to understand? I got in just in time for my appointment, was bend and twisted in various directions, went to Tulliver's to stock up and then went home. This hopefully means I don't need to go into York for another month, after going in 3 days in a row!
I'm still not convinced about going down to Levisham this weekend, but we shall see how it all goes. Simon did actually think to ask if I was OK with walking down the hill if we had to leave the car in the village, so maybe the whole pregnancy thing is finally sinking in. I do think he blanked the negative reply though!
