I'm slowly getting used to driving the Mariva, its still very new, but I love the high driving position. I'm not terribly keen on the stiff suspension or the sharp breaks, but I'll get used to them!
When I got home yesterday I got half the crab apples processed and made into crab apple and elder berry jelly with some elderberries I was handed at the weekend. That just leaves the last 2lbs dripping away into a basin. I might press them and use whats left to make some crab apple jelly and possibly some mint or rosemary jelly. Decisions, decisions.
Simon has now booked the sleeper tickets for next Tuesday night from Paddington to Penzance (£30 per head as we have to pay the sleeper supplement!), the car (turns out Network rail staff get a discount with Eurocar) and the B&Bs in Cornwall are booked, so I am looking forward to our first holiday this year with just the two of us.
