I agree so much, and this is why we are friends. I told you that the epilogue was like a poorly written piece of fanfiction! Goodness. Hugo?

I was a little mad about the Harry Horcrux thing, only because so many people already guessed it and JK thought, 'well, everyone knows it, I'll just gloss over the specifics because they've already been thoroughly discussed on Mugglenet.'

The epilogue, I agree, didn't explain as much as I would have liked it to. Also, I feel that some of the things she said would happen didn't end up happening. For example, as I'm sure you've read, who ended up doing magic later in life?

But I would say that the book as a whole totally makes up for the 'meh' epilogue. Ignoring the epilogue, book 7 was amazing.

If Harry named his children after his parent's and Dumbledore why didn't Ron name his after Fred?

I know, right?? Someone should be named after Fred. And why didn't anyone get named after Sirius or Lupin? Argh, so many loose ends.
