I have been so freaking productive today it's scary. I locked myself away in a little-used but well equipped room at work. Rearranged furniture to suit my needs. Boots off. Slippers and walkman on. Nose to grindstone. I haven't left this room since 9:40 this morning and I've gotten a pile of work THIS BIG *holds thumb and forefinger at least an inch apart* done. Okay, so I ate peanut M&Ms for lunch... But this work is stuff I've been trying to do for ages and which really really has to get done but other things keep getting in the way.
Tomorrow morning I have a meeting with my boss to show him all the things I got done today and the recommendations I can make to the company based on this work. He will be so impressed that he will give me the rest of the week off and make a special announcement to everyone about how marvellous I am and shower me with gifts and freshly baked cookies.
Well maybe not, but I am still fly, baby. Supahfly.
