That is a beautiful cat picture!

I love your book(s).

And--with such a fabulous food and book appreciation, you are always welcome to be in my in-crowd. :)

Well, you are certainly in my in-crowd too...just...so far away! Of course I feel as if I know you already, but it's always nice when you can actually see people in person once in awhile.

Indeed! I think that was the hardest part...there just aren't THAT many people that "get it". And that was a particularly odd situation because I was coming under fire for something that had nothing to do with the writing. (Not that I think that is any less painful than coming under fire for something that DOES have to do with the writing!) Well, there are just a lot of stressful things that pop up, but at least I think I learned a lot? Let's try and relax in 2011. ^_^

I love these sorts of posts, even though seeing the sad again is, well, SAD. Still, not everything is hearts & roses all the time, and the sad makes the happy so much better somehow. Still, I just want to hug you after reading the post. *sniffles*

I'm not at all surprised that you loved American Gods - it was the book that converted me to a Gaiman fan for life. Effing brilliant. Genius, even.

Can't wait to see what 2011 brings!

Well, I will imagine a hug. American Gods was brilliant! I've been meaning to read it for years. I passed my copy on after reading it but I can see having to re-buy it in the future for another read...

I borrowed it from my mother-in-law and therefore do not actually own it either. I may have to rectify that for a re-read. Especially now that I understand my Norse mythology just a bit better.
