Hey Central Florida foodies!

You know I'm all about the local and organic produce, but farmers markets tend to be an inconvenient option for people who wake up at noon. They also tend to be really busy. And while an early morning of browsing crowded food stalls can be enjoyable on a cool day, they're pretty miserable when it's 90° already at 10 AM. Which is pretty typical around here.

So I was ecstatic to hear that a local market, Morris's Market has opened in Lake Mary that specializes in local food -- produce, meat, eggs, bread... not all the produce was local -- there are apples in that picture after all (really FRESH apples)-- but it was pretty obvious that it was all fresh with minimal packaging, at the very least. A lot of it had that rustic look of homegrown food.

And I got all of the stuff that picture for $11.25. Another 10 bucks and I had a pound of Black Angus beef and a pound of free range chicken breast. I'm going to be going to Lake Mary a lot more often!
