[FRIENDS:]
Regina Berry: Max loves Regina and, of course, still plans on making her his wife. He knows that she has been shielded from the outside world for most of her life, but this only works more in her favor (Max likes her fairy tale world where he is a star and can do no wrong and they live happily ever after.) He feels that Regina is the only person at the circus (and maybe even the world) that understands him fully.
Russel Berry: Considering the Max only speaks well about Regina and himself, the fact that he says Russel ‘wasn’t a bad guy’ is enough to put him on his friends list. He no doubt had at least a little respect for the man who raised Regina so ‘perfectly’ and was to be his father-in-law.
Moe the Clown aka Lawrence Curls: Though Moe and Max may not always agree with each other, Max has long since forgiven the clown for testifying against him and is back to not understanding/caring about his awful puns.
Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey: Though Max hasn’t seen either of them in awhile (and would not recognize hobo!Phoenix), they both have a special place in his heart. After all, prison and dropping the soap are very un fabulous.

Sean Dingling aka Bat: Max has nothing against Bat, but can get a little jealous when Regina goes off to visit him.
[ENEMIES:]
Benjamin Woodman and Trilo Quist: Not only does Max think Ben is no where near deserving of the attention he wants from Regina, but the ventriloquist also insisted that it was Max who murdered Russel. Of course he wants nothing to do with either of them and will gladly steal Trilo away from Ben just to see the nervous man squirm.
Also, Ben is ugly and ill-bred.
Ken Dingling aka Acro: Having never gotten to see Acro in action, Max didn’t care too much about the man before Russel’s death. Though he was straight-forward and Regina spoke sweetly of him, Max’s thoughts (when not on himself) tend to go towards ways for the circus to prosper and grow, and Acro did nothing to help in these respects. All he did, in the magician’s opinion, is distract Regina away from him.
Oh, and his monkey is a total klepto.
It isn’t until after the trial that the magician actually sees Acro. Not only did he try to send Max to prison, but he tried to kill his Regina! Max believes that no matter how much the man apologizes, he will never forgive him for either offense.

[HOBBIES:] Anything with magic, winning Regina’s heart, flirting with cute fans, ‘disappearing’ from less than attractive fans, boosting up the circus’s fame
[LIKES:] Regina, milk, the color pink, money, women, fans, giving away his ‘heart’, silk, symbols, his enormous bust, talking about himself, improving the circus and its acts
[DISLIKES:] Ben and Trilo, Acro, less than fabulous situations, not getting attention, not getting special treatment, lies and liars
[STRENGTHS:] Performing, commanding attention, magic, good at motivating his coworkers, has high self-esteem
[WEAKNESSES:] Flirty, can act very rashly, has a bad temper, can become violent when upset, doesn’t think about other’s feelings, arrogant
[APPEARANCE:] Standing at 6’5” (including his top hat), Max has a very tall and slender build. With his bright pink hair and face covered in stage makeup (with pretty pink stars), most people without knowing him would assume the worst. During performances he wears his three symbols- a silk top hat, white roses, and a cloak. At any other time, he will probably been seen wearing pink. He also has wicked platform shoes that probably boost up his height even more.
[PERSONALITY:] Max acts just like anyone of his fame and renown would- very arrogantly. He knows that he is the best in the business and because of that, the Berry Big Circus is very lucky to have him and his talents. He displays the bust he won at the International Grand Prix in the Big Top’s cafeteria so that everyone can bask in his glory.
Though he is completely devoted to Regina, Max flirts with most girls he meets, calling them ‘sweetie’ and giving them his ‘heart’ (in the form of a playing card).
As he is well known, Max believes himself to be above the law. He is rich, handsome, and famous- He can do ANYTHING! As such, he usually speaks his mind about nearly everything. He has a bit of a temper and does not feel any guilt at all for whacking Ben upside the head with a glass bottle.
Underneath that fabulous arrogance and all that pink, is the man he was before the fame. ‘Billy’ only comes out with the magician is under a great deal of stress. Speaking in a southern accent and saying very stereotypical ‘hick’ things (‘A hog in a hamburger pit!’), Max tries to keep his past hidden from his fans.
[BACKGROUND:] Growing up on a farm as a child, Max wasn’t sure if he wanted to be either a magician or the president. After what was certainly a long thought process, he decided on the first.
Upon joining the Berry Big Circus and falling madly in love with Regina, he set forward to put some life into that dinosaur of a circus. Because he joined right after the incident with Leon, the circus was no doubt in a small funk after the loss of their two acrobats and their lion. Stepping in, Max quickly began to woo the audience with his ability to fly and it wasn’t long after that that the Association of International Magicians presented to him the Magician’s Grand Prix award.
After much bragging and a very generous pay raise from the ringmaster, Max decided that it was time to marry his sweetie pie princess. Six months was obviously enough time to know that he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life.
However, after Russel Berry was mysteriously killed, Max found himself accused of the crime and sent to the detention center to await his trial. Luckily, the defense attorney Phoenix Wright was able to find the real culprit, Acro, and Max was set free to go back home.
After deciding to stay at the Berry Big Circus with Regina and the gang, Max promised to do everything he could to make the circus the best in the world!
