Crazy folks!
Ok, today I had on my schedule to speak at 1 seminar at 10 a.m. The seminar topic was about resume and cover letter. This is usually what I will do at the first week of each month. Guess how many people registered and how many people showed? Tons registered, none showed.
What. the. fuck?! After I get back to my office, I had like 10 msgs waiting for me. The students all wanted to make a "private" appointment with me in organizing their portfolio and make a resume. Okayyyyy....?@! Why didn't your lazy butts just come to the seminar and get the information?
Sometimes I love my job, other times, I know that most undergrads at a local community college are not exactly career minded or even driven to success. Yes, I know that's a terrible generalization, but unfortunately, it's true, at least here. It's like a uphill battle. I will win, of course.
Latest news: SJP broke her damn tendon! NOT CARRIE BRADSHAW!!!! She was my idol running down Manhattan in her Manolo Blahniks. If I tried to run in those skinny heels, then I would've died - a horrible death too! See the article here @SJP fell and now she can't get up

On another note- The Game (aka Jaceyon Taylor)(aka 50 cent's side-kick) was arrested today.
Here's what he had to say:
"They thought I was Rodney King, man. It was a case of mistaken identity," the
Game told WFMY. "It's unfair, man. Their behavior's unfair...Soon as I wake up
in the morning, I'll be on the phone with my lawyers."
The drama is over him & his entourage being "rowdy." Come ON! This guy is a rap star! He's no Harry Potter or Pointdexter. You mean to tell me that when fame and money goes to people's head, they can't just bitch-slap whomever they want?! NO justice
UP for consideration are some digital cameras. I love digital photography. Suck at taking pictures, yet, like to buy expensive tech toys for sxxx & giggles. I want at least a 7mp, preferrably 8. I was considering Cannon brands, but I started reading sites about how Cannons have a problem with giving people red eyes. Not that it's not fixable, but still, I want a raw image, not having the trouble of editing every eye. Suggestions?
