Starting off with a work from Grodansnagel. She has a page on deviantART so go visit and admire her gorgeous work there: http://grodansnagel.deviantart.com/

A book cover made for City of Heavenly Fire with Isabelle and Alec on the cover ... I love it and part of me wishes this had been the real cover! The Lightwood siblings also deserve some time in the spotlight as far as I am concerned. And let's fac eit, this cover looks very professional done and utterly gorgeous! The city, stary night, mystical touch with the green shade and green smoke. Isabelle looking gorgeous and hot and classy with that red dress whilst also dangerous cause she is armed. Alec, yummy Alec with a leather jacket. And a leather vest. Weapon strapped to the back. And as always, not in the spotlight but a step back, guarding everyone else's back from there. I truly am in love with this fan made cover ...

Next drawing is from the hand off lizthefangirl. You can find her on tumblr: http://lizthefangirl.tumblr.com/

Takes place before Clary and Simon's coallision with the Shadowhunting world. They are on their way home and Clary thinks she hears something ... Just keep walking Clary, you'll meet your prince charming soon enough.
Simon's shirt is so Simon. And look how he is staring dreamily and totally in love at Clary who is oblivious to his interest in her. Clary's got a cool bag with and I think that that is her ever trusty sketch book under her arm. But the main heroes here are the Shadowhunters! Jace with his annoyed expression at the demon who just stole his food with its tentacle. Jace's choice of weapon ... chopsticks. Alec giving his parabatai a look that clearly states: "will you stop playing around and just kill it." Isabelle already on the job and having severed one tentacle. Of course using her golden whip for the task. And look how the demon has turned into a pin cushion thanks to Alec's many arrows! Super fun!
And as extra treat ... lizthefangirl even made a small fan fiction to go with this:

"Don’t touch my food!", Jace yelled and drove his weapon home. The tentacle collapsed like ripped tire, sending the white box with Chinese food down on the ground. Isabelle, standing on a bench yielding her whip in deadly precession, shot him a sour glance. "This is serious killing business, Jace. It would be helpful if you could attack it with real weapons and not poke it with….with chopsticks."

Alec nodded in agreement. “Just kill it already”, he said.

"You want me to kill it? Fine." With that he jumped in the air, landed on the Demons head and buried the remaining chopstick deep inside of its skull. Green ichor flooded from the wound, vaporizing the wood. Then the Demon imploded, leaving nothing but the remains of food on the floor.

"Wow, you just killed a Demon with random wooden chopsticks", Alec said admiringly, but Jace ignored him and looked at the wasted food. "Great", he complained, "Now I have to buy new chopsticks and new food!”

"Come on, Jace", Isabelle said, "We’re going home. Mom will make some spaghetti for us."

"But I wanted Mu Shu Pork", Jace said miserably.

When Clary and her friend Simon left the bookshop they had to make a small detour because a fight had broken out between some teenagers. Street fights were nothing special in New York, still Clary shifted uncomfortably. “What is?”, Simon asked. “I think I just heard someone say that this was serious killing business”, Clary said. “And I’m pretty sure it was a girl.”

"So what?", Simon inquired.

"Well, there is no girl in that fight."

"How would you know? They look all the same to me." When Clary didn’t answer he added: "Listen. It’s just your imagination, ok? Had some killer Animes too much lately, didn’t you?"

Clary relaxed. Simon was right. It was her imagination, nothing else. She turned around one last time to make sure of that and stopped. Instead of a tangled mass there were three separate standing teenagers, all dressed in black. On the left a girl was standing on a bench, a golden whip in her hand, now curling up like a serpent around her arm. She must have been about Clarys age, 14, maybe 15, but she was already wearing high heels. Next to her stood a boy with the same black hair and blue eyes. A bow was ready in his hand and a quiver hung on his back. On the right there was golden haired boy, no weapon in his hand, but two transparent sticks emerged from his back. The black haired boy looked at the blonde boy admiringly, but the other one didn’t notice him. He was busy waving exasperated at the food to his feet. Clary couldn’t make out what they said because Simon was dragging her away, talking loudly about some book he had read. When he stopped to wait for an answer from her, she could hear the blonde haired boy say: “But I wanted Mu Shu Pork!”

Clary shook her head. Her mind played some weird tricks on her…

No clue who is behind the next fun drawing ...

LOL, of course Jace has a problem with the float being shaped in duck form. Alec doesn't look too happy either about having to dress up in the gimmick. I wonder what bet the poor boy lost ... Only Magnus seesm to be ejoying himself. Will the sea water turn red with warlock blood? Will their day at the beach turn violent? And don't forget that Jace is a very dutiful hunter since he even brings his weapons with for a day at the beach. Alec can breath easily. His parabatai has his back! LOL A cute and fun idea.

I apologize for the cuteness that follows. Drawn by rindrawsthings who can be found on instagram: http://instagram.com/rindrawsthings

This must be the cutest drawing I have seen so far for Simon and Clary. Clary, dressed and behaving like a real girl here and with a plushie protectively held on her lap. And dorky, cute Simon with a true Simon T-shirt. Just look at that astonished expression on Clary's face and the happy, eager, energetic one on Simon's. Clary didn't stand a chance against the force that is Simon! I wonder if the book on his lap is also about the X-men ...

And here they are anew, just older. This time drawn by Tina3006 and for more artwork of her, visit her deviantART page: http://tina3006.deviantart.com/

Love the fist bump, Clary's wink and Simon's happy expression. It is clear that they are a team and know that they can depend on each other ... in real life and also for video games, LOL. Notice also the Yoda poster behind Simon on the wall. But really, the way they are drawn so relaxed around each other and their facial interaction ... it just screams that they are best friends. Even if you don't know these characters, there isn't any other conclusion you can come to when seeing this drawing. A super work!
