So let me at first apologize to the Uragiri and Weiss Kreuz fans. I fear that for a bit I will mainly put up stuff for Cassandra Clare's books. The last Mortal Instruments book is coming out at the end of this month and I am like most fans super excited about this and thus mostly focussed currently on the Shadowhunter universe. I will get back to Uragiri and Weiss Kreuz though. Don't worry. But for now ... Shadowhunting!
Art from Cassandra Jean. And if you want more art of Cassandra Jean, just check out her tumblr account:
http://cassandrajp.tumblr.com/ Spoiler art for City of Heavenly Fire. Maia and Jordan survive a horrible attack on the wers. Is it Maia's pack that was killed off? How lonely and lost she must feel then now. And if Luke, her leader and Clary's stepfather then also amongst the victims? This just makes you realize all the more that in the last book there will be indeed deads of people we have to love ...
Gorgeous art as always. I love Maia's downcast look and Jordan is drawn so yummy. Adore how we can see the city with its lights behind them and did you notice? Not all dead bodies are wolves. There lays for instance also an arm ... But Maia and Jordan look rather unharmed so were they even there during the attack or did they stumble upon the massacra afterwards? In any case, wicked spoilery art that makes me want the book all the more!
Jonathan and Jace in a snowy wasteland. Also spoiler art for City of Heavenly Fire. The sword in Jonathan's sword already makes its appearance by the way in the prologue of the book when the LOndon Institute gets attacked and Emma Carstairs spots Jonathan with this sword there. I like the stars on the hilt of the sword and I wonder whetherthis is going to be some special sword. In the prologue there is a small reference to the Waylands having been weapon experts and Valentine had a Wayland in his Circle ... Not to mention that it looks like Jonathan is draining the Heavenly Fire out of Jace's body. Where the hell are the others? Where is Jace's Parabatai Alec or his lover Clary? Why aren't they there to protect Jace?
Super drawing.
Clary and her brother Jonathan facing off. Also from City of Heavenly Fire. Jonathan seems to have the upper hand here but look at Clary's expression. She ain't going to go down just like that. perhaps try to knee him in the crotch and get free from his hold on her wrists? And Jonathan seems to be once again trying to persuade his sister with words that he is right and that Clary should join his side. Super!
