Trust issues ...
No, this journal isn't dead. I am just terribly busy trying to combine two occupations to make some extra cash. Uploads here may thus be slow for a while but I promise, the journal - or idea behind it - hasn't been abandonned.

Well, what can I say? Magnus clearly doesn't believe Chairman Meow is safe with Simon since the boy turned into a vampire. I wonder if this goes back to the time when Magnus found Chairman Meow asleep and believed the poor kitty cat to have been releaved of some of its blood instead of Chairman Meow just taking a nice nap. I love the idea here, the way they run some more with the joke. Simon seems to be bored and thus finds at least some way to fill his time by playing with Chairman Meow only to have Magnus walk by and the man deciding to risk his life and interfere to save his beloved kitty cat ... whilst Chairman Meow didn't need any saving at all, LOL.
Love the way Chairman Meow is drawn. He is so nice and round and just a cute fluffy ball. And the way he looks at Simon when he is in Magnus' arms ... super! It's like he is saying "sorry" to Simon cause his daddy won't let him play with Simon whilst he doesn't get what Magnus has against Simon.
Simon's reaction in the last part is brilliant. He sure seems pissed due to what Magnus assumes the boy will due with Chairman Meow.
And Magnus can't snatch Chairman Meow quickly enough away it seems. First the false lure as to not let Simon in on his devious plot to steal Chairman Meow away from Simon right from underneath the boy's nose, and then as soon as Chairman Meow is within grabbing range, Magnus snatches his kitty cat up and makes his intentions pretty clear. And the way Magnus seems happy in the last panel about the fact that he managed to get Chairman Meow away from vampire Simon ... awesome!
Oh well, back to boredom for Simon it seems, LOL.
