Clothes, shoes, and other frustrations... part two

well, Lane Bryant is apparently having a sale on tops... which is always a good thing.

and i bought some stuff to "decorate" (read: create artistic over-sewn, beaded and painted pandemonium on) some of those plain t shirt like objects i got...

AC Moore (and probably several other stores) have gotten a "kajinker" which means i can add jibbitz-like items to my clothing so it will match my Crocs

Now.....does anyone know why the local Steve and Barry store, which carries the Sarah Jessica Parker line.. which has a rep for large sizes.. apparently doesn't have a SINGLE solitary button front shirt in my size? i love the touch of spandex in their button front oxford type shirts, and the way it tapers in at the waist. but their "XL" pulls just a bit much over the bust.. it doesn't look classy, it looks cheesy.. because i need one size bigger!

now on to the shoes.....

well, Crocs has apparently realized that woman doesn't live on beach wear alone.

Their Prima line looks like a ballet slipper, with a few holes near the top as 'decor".  i have ordered two pairs, one in black and one in dark purple. mostly because i have only found it in stores up to size 9.. and only in PINK! (now i like pink, but seriously.. its not a work shoe color! not for me anyway)

besides, i wear a size 11 in Crocs (just in case you ever wanted to know that).

the fine lovely people at  "shoes that don't hurt" (aka Crocs) have also started making a Mary Jane style shoe with a solid back and no holes... its called "Alice".  now you cant put Jibbitz on them, but they do look more like a mainstream mary jane shoe style.
(Wayne asked: in fan -fic would that be a "Mary Sue")

they tell me they have a style of these that are covered in suede.. but its not in stock in my size yet.!

now they do make a "rain boot" but so far nothing like a dressy boot... so my quest to find a dressy boot that i can wear without wanting to hack my feet off. ..continues.

so.. all i need now is a job.
that should be easy, after all.... its finding clothes that is hard.

(seriously though... i really do wish i could get into a  back  laced corset by myself in under an hour... they help my back so much!)
