HELP KITTY!
when i got back from picking up wayne at work, we found a cat in the abandoned lot next door.
because of the health problems in our exsiting kitty community, i do not DARE bring a non vet checked cat inside my home. (also he was a boy, which means trying to convince my paranoid cat not to spray everything in the house)
we just took him to Morris Animal refuge in Philadelphia. they are not a no kill shelter, but they do their best.
He is a pale grey tabby, young, unneutered male.. half starved! big paws.. he will be big if he gets enough food i think... i suspect he was dumped when the kittens got "old enough" he had no idea how to fend for himself, and was desperate to be loved.
very friendly, rolled on my feet after he was sure i wouldnt kick him, loves to be petted, let me touch his tummy! i was able to get him into a small cat carrier by putting the canned food inside, and coaxing him gently. he didnt even cry. he let me pet him through the carrier bars, and only mewed when we hit bumps or tunred fast.
if you can take him in, he is at Morris Animal refuge in philadelphia, 12 something and lombard. near 13th street.
even if you cannot take him in, PLEASE say a prayer that he finds a good safe loving home.
