an update:
Wayne B. Houseknecht continues to be very unstable blood sugar wise.. although a bit better.
he gets exhausted at the slightest exertion.. and yes the main doctor wants him to go to a pulmonary specialist AND back to the cardiologist.
part of the issue is his meds make him even more susceptible to heat than he already is. been there, done that, ended up in the ER with heat exhaustion and etc several times on that count myself.
we have been gifted a van by my parents.
which is good because neither Wayne nor myself are able to take the multiple transfer out in the heat bus and subway ride to get to the doctors appointments.
its much much more comfortable on both of our backs and knees to be in a van over the station wagon. hadn't realized how bad the "haul UP from the seat" was until we didn't have to do it
once we have one of the seats pulled from the van Bella Cash will fit better and be more comfortable as well. (i am still leery of taking her anyplace in this heat though).
with the car and the doctors issues, (my falling badly, wayne being hospitalized etc) i have fallen even further behind on school work and am struggling to catch up.
