i escaped the hospital.

they wanted to keep me longer but i have had enough. anything else they can do outpatient thankyouverymuch.

i am very very tired and hurting, so will keep this brief

DO NOT fall into a wall in a cardiologists office, right after they give you a referral for a neurologist, to investigate this problem with your balance and falling.....
because they will send you straight downstairs to the ER.

sigh
CT scan came back highly suspicious
so had to stay in while they waited for MRI
MRI came back clean

BUT
they didnt tell me that until after 4pm today.. so i was in hysterics because the Doctor in the ER yesterday said the CT scan indicated either
1. a prior stroke
2. MS

you may imagine how my nerves have been.

somehow they didnt bother with an EEG though. i guess they would have done that up in neurology which is where they wanted to put me next.. but they can bloody well do that outpatient.

also?
not so happy with their communication with patient protocols.

and
they apparently give "routine" injections of anti coagulantss to prevent clots from being in bed? so they just show up and want to give me .....what? and they have YET at that point to tell me if i might be, oh, bleeding in my brain?
nooooooooooooooo i dont THINK so.
especially since i can walk, albeit they put the arm band of shame on me and required an orderly whenever i got out of bed. (seriously they alarmed my bed)

and do remember how phobic i am of needles and IVs?
so trying to deal while i had a THING in my arm? not cool.
having blood drawn at 5 am, no fun
and dealing with sudden apearances of nurses trying to stick me in my tummy with anti coagulants? uh....
so i will be taking a Xanax and going bye bye now

medical, head trauma, er, seizures, medical care, mri, hospital, cat scan
