college blog: finals again
i am now in week ten, out of eleven.
one of my finals is over, the Monday class... so i only have a short feild trip this coming Monday.
Wednesday i have two different sewing related classes: Clothing Construction 2 and Patternmaking 2. sadly i am not doing very well in those owing to various things eating my time and my brain this quarter.
I have a pair of jeans due end of class Wednesday (one week from now as i type this) during which we will also have a sort of mini critique of our "ensemble".... and a pair of wool pants mde from my own pattern due at 1:30 sharp (along with a flat, fabric Sample, etc) which was made to my mother's measurements and she will be coming down to model.
This will also be the first time mom has seen my school.
Thursday i have several boards in photoshop and Illustrator due... (ouch) a mood board with fabric swatches, a tech flat board (pattern illustration style stuff), a line sheet board (colored flats basically showing all the variations we would be producing if this was for real) and our fashion sketches (the pretty stuff, supposedly)
so. i have to finish all those, print all those, have the clothing cleaned and pressed if at all possible, which wouldnt be an issue at ALL.. except fort one thing....
this weekend i am booked. i will be at the Lakewood Lions Club Renaisance Fair (held in co-operation with the SCA barony of Carillion) in Lakewood NJ. i will be in my usual location with the "soothsayers" booth...
GIVEN the homework and finals thing, dont be too shocked if i put in short hours....
