SCA event this weekend: hot event was hot
well i made it down to storvik... (southern Maryland) yesterday and saw several of my friends, and had a WONDERFUL day board....
(ok, i admit it, they won my heart with plain grilled cheese sandwiches. plus the fruit..hmmm strawberries and apples....)
ahem
any way the one REAL downside was the heat and humidity.
it was hot. yes hot is an issue, but the humidity was high enough that my "cooler bandanas" which cool me off by evaporation were not working. wayne and i both got a bit sick.

also i managed to completely mess up a Credit Card transaction, a nice large one...
which means i need to get in touch with the person who made the purchase, because i need either to get the info to fix the charge, or re run it.
(note: this is NOT her fault, she made a perfectly good charge in good faith, and it is NOT the fault of her card, i messed it up and thats why it didnt go through even though i thought it had)
one of the nobles present had her contact info, so hopefully we can get this fixed soon...
