wet windstorm rain fest lives up to name
we have a nickname for the west Windsor renaissance fair..."wet windstorm rain fest"
yup
today wasnt bad weather wise.. cool and a bit of rain.. but attendance was SO way down it wasnt funny. tomorrow we expect thunder storms. sigh
they dont publicize this very well....pity, because its a nice event usually.
plus we had a complete unprofessional horses tuchus as one of the merchants....
ok, i have been a merchant at events i wanted to bail out of..i sympathize. but you DO NOT drive your vehicle onto the customer space road in front of the merchants before load out/end of fair.

this idiot is selling "art prints" that he claims to be worth "thousands of dollars" and is FREAKING OUT because omg! its an outdoor event, in a park. and it might RAIN!!!!!
dude if your merchandise cannot handle rain (under cover), dont do outside events. period
also, it wasnt going to rain any more that day
so there was NO need for you to pull your van onto the fair grounds at 3 oclcok when we close at 6
you were asked to load from behind your tent if you felt you had to load nout before closing.. you pitched a fit, and got abusive so now you are banned.. and you know what?
as soon as i am sure i know your merchant name and get it right? EVERY con organizer i know is getting your name.
not only did you endanger the customers by driving on the walk way with kids and dogs.. but you hurt sales for everyone else while you had your hissy fit and loaded out.
