college blog: music projects
so....
i have this music class.. and i have three options for my final paper.
ONE of the options for my final paper is to do a "imagined newsletter" fan club/publicity thing for a favorite musician or band with a "mock interview" and etc. (plus a compiled CD that i get to put together as a "best of" sort of selection)
yes, i could do one on ANYone including people long dead.(and was tempted to do one for Puccini, but i digress)
it occurred to me that i know an awful lot of musicians.....
so....given that i know a LOT of musicians, is anyone interested in doing an email based interview FOR REAL and getting a copy of this "mock publicity newsletter" (or any of the other two options)for their own use?
i make NO guarantee that i will end up using any preliminary interviews in my final project, but i do guarantee that if i do an interview i will be doing it "as a fan" and whatever i end up writing will probably be easily translated to "Squeee!" and "you should totally buy this!"
