a friend of mine is trying to find some obscure reference material..
i went:
Obscure reference material? wow i bet my flist has it on the bedside reading pile...
she said :
"oh, probably not.. the sources i want would originally be ancient Roman.."
and i said
"bring it ON girlfriend"
well not really, but it sounds cooler that way.
NEED SOURCES:
depictions of sorcerers in Latin literature and what people thought a magician was capable of. I'm trying to argue that the 'werewolf' in the Satyricon is actually a sorcerer.
Ancient Rome, early empire is best - the 'Satyricon' was written in the time of Nero, so late first century BC, first century AD. English is preferable, German will do.
