today i get to try to dig the cars out some more. oh joy
have i mentioned how very much i hate cold? lately? i have..?oh... well its still true.
i have been a bit ill, i suspect some food didn't agree with me, you dont want the details.....
mostly playing Zynga games on facebook, like cityville, since i can stay close to the bathroom. this does mean i have also not been shoveling the cars out, or making much food, but you do what you have to, right? whats upsetting me is i also haven't been getting much sewing done, and i have an outfit i need to finish by January7th....
i own the fourth season DVDs and the seventh. i love that show, but since i dont have a TV (or at least what i have isnt digital) i only get to see it at my parents. so i have seen it a little on re runs, kind of out of order, and so i knew some stuff from later episodes, but hadnt seen earlier ones...
ok, yes it has plot holes you can drive a truck through, and the universe is sure not run by our rules (terrorism on American soil is about a monthly occurrence.. one wonders why the populace of DC still panics).... but its still a fun show. Its probably the best publicity the Marines could ask for.....
One of the things i really like about it is the fact that it has such strong female characters, and both the men and women are interesting.. they have hobbies, families, lives, frustrating vacations... and of course like everyone else i know i adore Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) all that and brains too... most of the women in the series are incredibly smart.....
mind you, they do write DiNozzo erratically, sometimes he is just a not very socially adept jerk but a honorable guy, sometimes i think he needs to be drop kicked. weird the way they keep changing his character around.
so, yes i am still ill, yes i hate being ill, and no i am still not having much luck chiseling the cars out
also i really need an event, or to get more pictures up on my etsy.. but i still havent figured out how to do that
