two totally different help requests

the first request is simple..
i am applying to be a "regular" volunteer at the Red Cross, preferably in public speaking/education. they would LOVE to have someone speak to schools and stuff, and i happen to available during "work hours" which makes me very valuable...
and a public speaking gig (for a cause i really believe in) would be good on my resume too.
i need two recommendations on THEIR forms, or by email using their forms. from "people who know me professionally" that is, co workers, customers, fellow merchants, or etc. they might take teachers as well, but they want people who have known me for at least a year. then they run a background check (yawn)
so if you think you could do that i can fax, email, or mail you the form. its pretty much a check box sort of thing, very simple.

and seriously having nothing to do with the first...
it turns out i am actually available to go to a Lolita tea party/meetup here in Philly.

i am NEVER in town when they have one.
well. uh.. i have no clothes...i mean.. nothing really expressly Loli.... i have a ton of mainstream skirts, and very long skirts, and corsets, and blouses that are more elegant....
so any ideas of patterns or stuff i can put together VERY fast (January 9th)
most of the "for sale" stuff isnt in my size, and i am broke right now anyway, but i have a metric ton of fabric....
