college blog: and so it begins, again
first day of the quarter dawned bright and early..... sigh, i lie, it dawned grey, cold, and gloomy. i am NOT fond of grey gloomy cold wet days. especially when combined with morning classes.
so, thus far i like the teacher for my business management class. i stress "so far" because its only class 1, but she seems understandable, and she uses hand outs for note taking....the syllabus seems clear enough.
mind you its a basic overview class, so i have no idea how much i will already know.
it SEEMS like i can use the textbook in the library. this would be good because its a 150 mumble dollar book. if i can use the library book, and not have to spend that it would REALLY help my budget, especially since owing to some financial aid issues i have a higher monthly bill now.
yup, i am now limited to 4 classes, not five (12 credits a quarter, not 15) not due to grades, but due to money.. AND my bill still went up a few bucks each month, ouch.
so it will take me longer to get that degree i guess.
still, i will get there.
also i found a great book for adult students
501 ways for adult students to pay for college, by Gen and Kelly Tanabe.
so i have hope of more funds. until then?
think profitable thoughts for my next few shows, ok?
