recycled yarns/fibers.. question for yarn buyers
one of my final projects due this coming week (or is it next week, shrug) is a report about textiles
we could pick either a report on textiles and new technology, or a report on green textiles.
i picked green
(plus tech)
the foundation of green is reduce, re use, recycle.
so i am researching *recycled* yarns and fibers!
this means getting a skein or two of various recycled fiber yarns.. OHHHHHHHHHHHHH pity, pity
OOOOh suffer suffer
i have to go to YARN STORES and BUY YARN.. oh woe is me.....

anyway i found like a small ton of links, most of which are for the textile industry (great for my report but bad for fun reading) and am happily browsing away...

i have a question
would you like me to start carrying some recycled sari silk yarns?
how about any other unusual fibers? i mean i already carry a lot of SWTC aka http://www.soysilk.com
but what about the recyled silk?
