I know you will have a wonderful time visiting our fair city. If you need any advice on where to eat. I can come up with a list in Brookline, they have some wonderful Kosher resturants. Also Rebecca's is kosher cert at certain locations. Where in the city are you staying
i stay in the Arisia hotel. i rarely get a chance to leave it, so if its not walking distance, its not likely! I , personally, do not keep kosher. Its funny, i probably know more about kosher stuff than most folks, but was raised Episcopal and am a Wiccan by practice... however i have many observant friends... so it might be good to have a list of places we could eat....thanks! any chance you will be there? i merchant out of my room, so you can stp by and say hi without needing to go to the whole convention.

Just so you know i should have most if not all of your snoods for you when you get there :) So far they are coming along VERY nicely. And i'm hoping i'll have the time while i'm down in Virginia to finish them off (I have this nasty habit of waiting until the last minute to put the elastics on..... so i've got a pile of snoods just waiting for elastics!) I will also have a check for you for the thread from pennsic.....

It's been a rough month, with both Beven's grandmother and father passing away. Now we're off to Virginia to try to get some of the stuff settled with his father's estate. I've got loads of new products and a two new major product lines (not counting what fabric there may be left from father-in-law'w suttler business). I've had the cold that doesn't want to go away for two weeks now, although i do feel better than i did. I'm really lookign forward to Arisia and getting to see everybody. I feel like i've been just kind of locked away the past few months, because we've had so much going on family wise all i've made it to was two events one of which got interrupted by the news that Beven's grandmother had passed away and i needed to get home RIGHT NOW so we could get back in the car and drive to Ohio. Here's hoping the new year is less eventful (But with More events!!)
>nods< yup, i am doing arisia alone this time, because we need my hubby to stay home and watch the dog and the cat that needs medication.....also he really has no more time off, as he has been sick
( ... )
Without trying to sound egotistical - it sounds like something I'd do. :) My one real feastcratting experience, I made every course vegetarian-possible. I didn't have any vegetarians... but it was possible! ^_^
Alas... I really doubt you'll be this far south without a WorldCon bid being involved. Florida/Trimaris is like this huuuuge gravity well....
well, i have another lj friend in florida. so maybe. maybe. if i went to a con down there. i would have crash space and not have to pay a hotel?
or you might find yourself up north for a differnt reason and be able to drop in on an event.... stranger things have happened! i do occasionally do GaFilk, in Atlanta, but it has been years...
