in which kirsten is STILL NOT SICK.. and other things happen
so my head normally tries to explode when i cough..... really. perfectly normal and i am NOT SICK.
i am actually feeling ever so slightly better than yesterday.. of course thats not saying much.
when i went to school this morning the students and teachers were all like... uh. yeah, you are sick, arent you....
i suspect i could get out of school free by threatening to breath on the teacher, but i LIKE Emil.
anyway, so ...... i have a jewelry show Friday that i am not finished prepping for, and for some reason (since i am NOT SICK) it is really slow going.. just.. tired... and tired.. and coughing a lot.... and hard to think and concrete in my brains.
i have a test tomorrow morning at 8 am
i have a class thursday... that i have to take stuff in for.
i have... several final exam projects that have to be finished and ready to turn in after the holiday.
and a final exam. or two.
oh yes, and we got our final exam assignment in todays class.
prep a fashion layout.
8-10 outfits, (a collection) on matte or illustration board, hand drawn, etc etc... etc.
so i went to find the board... 14x17
and after a LOT of driving around i found some! but it was too big, so i asked if they can cut it.. yes they can! i will get two boards from each one.
so i clean them out.... and take it to be cut...
and after a bit the lady comes out and .... you know.. that looks awfully skinny......
she had cut it to 11x17...
"calm, calm, its not due yet, its ok....."
and they JUST got this load in, they wont have more for a while....
"calm, its a simple mistake"
so long story short the poor girl called around and found a DIFFERENT store in the chain that had them in stock in black.... and they are being cut to the *right* size (please Gd the right size) and i have to make an extra trip to a less convenient store to go get them.
the girl was being very apologetic and trying to figure out how to fix it, and i got a coupon.
shrug its an understandable mistake...11x17 is a standard size.
i have three ? well at least two weeks....in which i have to get the boards, draw original clothing designs, go to New York City and get fabric samples.. color everything in to EXACTLY match the colors....
right, i can do this..... sure....
PS. will be going to NYC on Tuesday. buying fabric and pearls... anyone want to meet me for lunch?
