anyway, wore garb (sca clothes) to my fashion history class today. it drives me BUGGY to have to memorize the wrong names for all the fashions. argh! argh! argh! plus the usual problems of any SCAdian studying fashion history...
anyway in order to let everyone have something to look at other than You Tube i went to the trouble of wearing a gown and a sideless surcoat, plus my barbette and one of lj user guendalina 's snood, and a hat and veil...
and i brought in two examples of chain mail...
the teacher was thrilled, actually...
the students? not so much
sigh. try to liven things up a bit......
