This is the 'say something appropriate and I'll give you five questions' meme. This time around the key phrase is 'Baaa humbug'. These questions from Kyleri. Ask, and ye shall receive.
1) How did you and Wayne meet?
Whouseknecht was GMing a RPG at the apartment of the guy i was dating at the time. He and I had one more fight about him being too drunk to drive me home, and me having to call my mom to pick me up since the trolleys were not running, and i went out with Wayne about 3 days later. incidentally it got ugly after that with my prior date calling all his guy friends to come over to my house and have an "intervention" to explain how i was mistreating him. which just convinced me i needed to not date him ever again....ever.
2) You're packing your bags for a trip somewhere -- anywhere -- in the world Where would it be?
Hawaii. never been there, but i hear nice things, and its warm, and they have Orchids (love Orchids) but my answer might change if i wasnt being wet and dark and cold.... because there are some places in Europe i would love to go. but.. you know.... cold....
3) If someone gave you a million bucks and told you to spend it on yourself, what would you buy?
to be honest i would pay off my debts and then buy jewelry stuff, but big ticket? house... with land.. enough land to have a real garden, and some chickens, and a sheep or five. i do not like the concrete, no i dont.
4) If you could change one thing about the SCA, no questions asked, no political repercussions, what would it be?
i would like there to be more easily accessible instruction about HOW to enter A&S, how to do research and what kind of entries people want/expect, and the same thing with "so you want to be a scribe/illuminator" because all they do is send me to the webpage and i dont get it.... so i have never made a scroll, because i just dont understand how to go about figuring out what to do.
5) Why knitting?
Therapy. after my car accident i lost the use of my right arm. after i told the doctors where to go and how far they could shove something.....i took up trying to regain use of it on my own. i needed a light project, that could be dropped without damage.... (glass was out, so was fire) and weighed as little as possible. knitting fit. (when i was a kid i tried to learn, they made me knit scarves.. row after row of garter stitch..... AARGHH!!! not a good choice for short attention spans... i taught myself to knit on mittens!)
