grumble, money, grumble
ok, things have been ....unfortunate.. in ways i dont feel like discussing much.
the stuff i CAN talk about is:
the cold hit hard, and fast. and my hands got a bad bout of reynauds. i had to break out the silk glove liners and the silk socks. yea, this early.... not a good sign
my sinuses clogged up, which means i am dizzy as heck. i had a VERY good lesson in what that means today when i tried to drive..... not good when vertigo is hitting you bad.
i was supposed to be driving to someplace 3 hours each way for a farm show event. i wont be able to unless my ears clear up.
and the Sunday show i was supposed to go to? when i got back form that 3 hour drive? my check went missing. so i didnt get in.
so i HAVE to do a local ish show on Saturday to try to make money, which means IF my ears clear up i can only go to te farm show on sunday......if.
the only plus side to all this is that being stuck indoors i have been watching some jewelry DVDs.
did i mention that i still have some.....large... bills due?
anyway. one of the DVDs i was watching was how to write names and words in wire and make pendants and pins and stuff. I plan on practicing (in the cheap wire) and getting good enough to do folks names, live, at events..
anyone want to be a practice piece?
you can get copper or "G-d alone knows " wire for free (or shipping if you dont pick it up soonish at a show) any word/name you like, pin/pendant/hat pin/tack etc. i need to practice. It will be done in script/cursive writing. but pls send it to me in print/typewriten/emailed/posted because i cannot read other people's script.
and if you mis spell it to me , you better believe i will mis spell it when i do it in wire.
or you can order one in Gold Fill or Sterling (or 14k if you feel lucky) for money...
