some days it doesnt pay to wake up in the morning.
i know, usually this stuff is over on Thorninthefoot, but i could NOT wrap my brain around this one.
4 mos old
baby denied coverage because he is "fat". in perfect health, and all...... but still, he's fat and that is a "pre existing condition".
Karl Lagerfeld , the guy who lost almost a hundred pounds in 13 months to fit into his new men's clothing line, says "
no one wants to see round women" and defends the industry use of models whose arms can be used for bone anatomy class.
ok, time for the Orwell "Hate hour" folks.. the last group its perfectly acceptable to bash are the fatties......
and before anyone says ANYTHING about this to me let me make this perfectly clear:
Your weight is only really an issue if it affects your health and actual well being.
MY weight is an issue because i have bad knees.. and the best thing i can do for them is to reduce my weight. (they are bad from accidents, not weight, but weight puts more stress on them). If your weight makes it hard to move around or exercise? its an issue....
if you dance regularly, ride a bike, have a decent diet, and happen to be "overweight" by some stupid industry standard? SO WHAT.
