PSST! other business owners.....
ok, i have been talking to a few folks about getting some custom printed gift wrap ribbon.....
the stuff i used to buy at Aphrodite's Dove is apparently not made anymore :(
so, to get what i want (made in the USA, recycled content, and biodegradable and/or recyclable) i am going to have to place a rather large order....
oh yes i can get a few rolls (4) of custom printed ribbon made in the USA.....or a few rolls of something sort of eco-friendly.... but to get the custom printed 100% recycled, eco friendly, biodegradable and/or recyclable made in the USA ribbon that i really want..... i need to buy 3,000 yards of one color.
and frankly i don't really think i need 3,000 yards custom printed ribbon... although i remember how much impact the printed ribbon had at the store, so i may just have to save my pennies. (The quote was: $436.26 for the ribbon and printing, plus a $55 plate charge)
but i also started wondering about splitting it up between several people.
The thing is, several of us could go in together on some custom printed ribbon... but it all has to say the same thing, in the same color. on the same color and width of ribbon.... and i thought "that won't work" and then i thought.. "maybe it could..."
so, let me know if any of you out there think you might be interested in any of these things, written on a (probably kraft colored) ribbon:
