in other news, a friend started a group called babes_wheels which is a user group for people who have (or want to have) a Babe wheel... this will also have "hacks" or improvements you can make to your babe wheel and ways to tweak it shared by other users. like adding a fiber tie off point......or adjusting how the tension works.... or steampunk painting your wheel.....
in still other news i need to get a Louet order in also, so if you need something from louet let me know. discounts available but it varies by product.

PEARLS have been re ordered! Pearls are HERE they arrived today a few minutes ago. i am expecting two kilos of 5-6 mm white pearls, a mixed bunch of colored pearls (wine, very large black/peacock, some light blue, and some flashy gold), some small rice shaped pearls.. AND those stitched together ball pearls.
the hollow ball made of sewn pearls (not glued) is historically documented. it qualifies as "typical" in the Italian Renaissance portraits, and i have friends who inform me it was done in Rome (ancient Rome) also. these pearl balls were used as stations on Rosaries, accents on necklaces, earring beads, and sewn on puff and slash. i will be getting some in white, gold, blue, bronze and maybe green.. ahem, my bad.. i got BLACK, WHITE, TURQUOISE (truly eye popping ) and BRONZE......also available in chocolate brown, gold, and green.
