LaLa La everything will be JUST FINE.. do you hear me.. FINE!

so, i had a stunningly wonderful time at two wire wrapping classes,  the teacher (Char Jorgensen) was fabulous and funny, and  I learned a great deal. which means you can expect to see some wire wrapped pendants and more wire work at my shows, i will try to post the pictures of our 'class projects" later today if i can...

(naturally they are not my best work, they are practice pieces to learn techniques. including many mistakes.. you learn from those you know)
And these are the first two I did at home

I call the one with a heart "Mending a Broken Heart" because that stone is the one that shattered the worst from dropping it (it's chrysocolla) and in addition to jeweler's cement, the wire wraps are calculated to keep it in once piece.

i got new beads, picked up from one of my suppliers at the show...
i got some lower cost Tourmaline (to add to the more expensive Tourmaline i already had) and i got some of the most GORGEOUS prehnite beads i ever saw.  (ok, i admit it, i adore prehnite).  i also got some golden rutilated quartz, and some black tourmilated quartz.
picked up a few multi color Aquamarine (technically aquamarine and morganite which is pink) strands and some more moonstone.

their first event will be at East Kingdom Crown Tourney this coming Saturday come see the new beads!
(sunday i spend with mom)

the weekend after that is West Windsor Renaissance Fair n NJ. a lions club/sca fundraiser

then i SHOULD be at Anime Boston, with guendalina  of Lady Guendalina's Closet
and thats about as far as my fuzzy brain will work right now.

and last but by no means least........
do you need a wicked cool fantastic purse? i have a personal addiction for Mylinka purses, hand made of multiple patterns of glove leather, made in the USA with no questionable work conditions overseas (just my overworked friend Rita) i swear by the "Skyrocket" style.. but she has some that are a bit tamer...
if you order one, tell her i sent you and i get a sales commission......

i mention it because i was using my spring (lavender, blue, tan, hints of pink) skyrocket purse all this last weekend at Bead Fest Wire and EVERYONE noticed it. the teacher of my class even called me up and asked me to show the purse to the other students.. i had vendors stop and ask me about it. (yes they are often available for less than the prices on her webpage.. )
grin
very Flylady and Missus Smarty Pants... no more saving my good stuff for "special occasions" anymore...
i will USE my good stuff.... every day should be a special occasion.

sale, classes, purses, events, beads
