I have joined with Heifer International to raise funds to provide a real solution to end poverty, hunger, and war.. and YOU can help.
Those of us who knit (and crochet and weave) know that a hand made sweater or socks can warm the body and the heart.. won't you help us raise funds to provide sheep, goats, alpacas, and llamas (as well as beehives, chickens, bees, and, obviously, Heifers) to an impoverished family?
By learning how to raise and care for livestock, and participating in Heifer Internationals program of giving some of their animals offspring to others, you can help lift an entire community out of poverty, provide nourishing food, money for schooling, and ... wool.

heifer International does a wonderful job of helping to permanently end the cycle of poverty and hunger. Many charities offer a hand out, this one builds a community ladder to give a hand up. Please consider joining with me to raise funds. and seriously, i just started this team.. so we need a LOT more team members
