Another long yarn...
well, the last of this installment of yarn came in today...
I had been waiting for the second shipment from Fiesta Yarns, and truthfully I hated to mail any of it out! The stuff is gorgeous, The Sapphire and the Quince, in particular.. they come in bags of four (right now, that may change soon) and the Sapphire and Quince were all spoken for :), so I didn't get to keep any :(
the Jade Sapphire Mongolian Cashmere is selling well, although not fast, but it is expensive. I *must* re-order the "Lacey Lamb" from them, that stuff is the thinnest wool yarn i ever saw!
The Misti Alpaca came in two days ago... another load of "OOOHHHH!" that I hate to part with.
I also didn't think i would like the Louet KidLin (Mohair and linen) but I think I like it after all.
So now I just have to figure out how much I can afford to ship out with me to KY for the weekend event, and then hope fervently that everyone at the next few shows (or online, or on lists) wants to make some gorgeous Holiday presents out of the stuff.
It only takes one skein of lace weight Alpaca to make a lacey scarf, or two skeins of the La Boheme to make a show stopping shawl or stole. So i am packaging it all up into gift sets and gift bags.
