Ah, to be one year older. I gotta say, I had a pretty good birthday. I slept in till around eight (yeah, that's sad, isn't it?), woke up, and decided to open my mom and dad's gifts. One of them was a really cute little garden gnome playing the flute. Being both a musician and a gnome collector (and no, I'm not kidding), this was a super gift

The last line by Merrick was pretty funny, and the prank that Rodolphus pulled is oh so very Maruader. But it's nice to get a feeling that the Maruaders weren't the ONLY people pranking!

Yeah, I really dislike when people decide that the Marauders (and later Fred and George) are the only group of students to ever have fun and pull pranks while at Hogwarts. There are too many students enrolled to have just four being pranksters, and I absolutely refuse to have the Slytherins be a bunch of stiffs.

It's coming soon, btw. I just have to other secret santa fics to write, too. O_O
