I hope you're all looking forward to prom as much as I am. Everyone's got dates? Dresses? Even if it's not as formal as prom usually requires, you should come. We deserve to have some fun around here. Prom is just the thing we need.

I must thank you for the win, actually, because you served to be the inspiration for the original song that I wrote for the competition.

Receiving that standing ovation and the respect of my peers was actually something of a nice change -- not the standing ovation, of course, but the latter.

She draws herself up slightly, squaring her shoulders, before she glares.]

If you wished to be proper competition to me at all, Quinn, you would realize that you would never live up to what he desires, because you would stoop to this level in order to irritate me over something extraordinarily petty, instead of facing me by yourself.

[That -- took a lot more guts than she thought it would, but Rachel refuses to let it show, and she sets her jaw.]

I'm sure you will both sound lovely. But there will be no comparison to our duet, because singing with emotion is the best way to captivate your audience, and you lack the emotional depth necessary to pull off such a duet with him.

Enjoy prom. You may get the ridiculously worthless crown, but I'll have something much better when the night ends.
