Ryan sat down next to Spencer and handed him a smoothie. “Strawberry-orange,” he said.
“Thanks,” Spencer smiled. He went back to talking with Brendon about the drum arrangements for the next song.

“I paid the water bill. Again,” Spencer stated as Ryan stumbled out from his room.
“Yeah, whatever.” Ryan kissed Spencer on the head and got coffee. “Jon and I will be working late tonight.”
“Ok, I’ll call Brendon and we can look at the photos.”
“Cool.”

“What do you want for dinner?” Ryan asked Spencer. Spencer didn’t respond. “Hello? Earth to Spencer.” The guitarist waved his hand in front of his best friend’s face.
Spencer blinked. “What?”
“Dinner?”
“Pizza?”
“Pepperoni with pineapple or the supreme?”
“Are we dating?” Spencer responded.
It was Ryan’s turn to blink. “What does that have to do with pizza?”
“I just…I mean…Shane asked when we were getting married and Brendon said we already were. But Zack was adamant that you hadn’t asked me yet and I didn’t know what they were talking about, so I called Jon and he said he wanted to know too. And then I called Pete, who laughed at me for an hour and said you and I were dating.”
Ryan sat down next to Spencer. He was silent as he thought. “I guess we are dating. We do live together and sometimes we sleep in the same bed.”
“Only because you have no body heat.”
“I know everything about you. And I do love you.”
“I love you too.”
They looked at each other and smiled slowly.
“So now what?” asked Spencer.
“Pizza?”
Spencer shook his head and leaned in to kiss Ryan. “Now pizza.”
Ryan laughed as he pulled Spencer down on top of him. Food could wait for a while.
