I used to get a lot of commission work off there. I am not as talented as most of the people on there, but for some reason my style seems to appeal to promoters and authors. I haven't done any serious work in a while ;[ I need to draw more.
Yes and No. Yes because you're getting paid to do what you love. In most cases people really like what you produce for them.
No because some people can't be pleased. While they like your style, something about their description and your ideas just don't connect. It's not the money at that point. To me it's very trying to have someone critisize everything you've done, (especially when the cout gets close to 100) when you really feel liek you're producing exactly what they asked for.
My dad is the second type - thats the reason I never draw anything he asks me to.
