(no subject)
The nurse called and there is something wrong with my cervix ;[. They are going to look at it when I go in for my ultrasound. The nurse told me not to worry, so I am trying not to.
Meanwhile, I hate this job. I didn't hate it so much before I looked up what people normally get paid for this job..$46 a year is the going rate. I make about $22. I knew being a temp sucked, now I know how much it sucks. You have no benefits, you are a full time employee who has nothing to show for it. No paid days off at all. The company you temp for expects you to work over time and weekends (you're only there because they need help). They also expect you to skip class for work. What's funny is, they never ask the full time employee's to do this. Just the temps. Several of the temps have been here over a year.. citistreet has no plans to hire them. If they won't do it, someone will.
SO I am looking for a new job. I know Briant told me Wachovia was hiring (and BTW Briant - No I don't watch sex in the city - But I know you do!;]), I wonder if they still are. This job is better then retail.. but retail had benefits and paid days off. Retail also worked with your school schedule.. and when the new DM told me I'd need to give up school, I took this job. A job I was told had benefits and worked with my school schedule.
Dan and I decided to get married, we had talked about it before the baby. The baby is not the reason, we just really do love each other. There has never been a night I couldn't go to bed happy with him. He is going to include me on his benefits, so that helps with the pregnancy (yes it's covered, we checked). But the job needs to change... any ideas? Anything? Anyone? Monster only turns up Insurance sales.. or 'get paid to work from home' sales. Scams.
