This spring break was pretty amazing. I'll never forget the experiance that I had nor will I forget the knowledge that I've learned. I really doubt I can write down all the things I've been taught, so I'll leave that up for a discussion one day that will hopefully please the masses.
Home was good. Got $200. F'ing sweet. Ate momma's chili w/ cheese; always good. Realized I'm more like my dad than I thought I was. That was kinda cool. Sis got her braces off...she looks so old now...and I felt even older when I noticed...umm...Wayne's World is a classic comedy, in my book. Thanks Biggie.
Went on "Exodus". It was the first one ever held by my church, so it was cool that I started something that should turn out to be worthwhile for those that partake in it. Met some really cool high school kids. I got to feel like I hadn't missed a beat from that crowd. Kind of pathetic, but mostly cool. I fasted for 30 hours...well, fasted but drank liquids (Thank God). I thought I could hold off until Monday, but the body beat the mind this round. I was still pretty proud that I fasted for a reason this time. I fasted for brotherhood because I feel like that is one of the most important aspects in life and I wanted God to notice that I want to be serious about that in days to come. Got taught by people from church about certain parts of the bible. They were all good except for one guy who just did WAY too much into it. I'm sorry, but when you use fear as a teaching tool, you've lost my attention...I had a LOT of quality time with God; I was pretty much put in the middle of a forest with a bible, a journal, and a pen...It was amazing. He was there. I could feel Him. Saw the Passion of the Christ for the second time...Kind of killed the joy there...It's really hard to not feel anything from that movie because there was so much in it that means a lot to me....I wanted to watch Wayne's World soon after that.
"Anyone want chinese?"
"Yes. I'll have the cream of sum-yung-guy."
Anyway, altogether it was an experiance that should never be forgotten. I better start laying down again cuz I didn't get much sleep during Exodus...If someone is snoring, do you hit them with a pillow to wake them and get them cranky, or do you let them sleep and push through the noise?...I hate having sleep being disturbed...Well, until next time party people. Lata.
