It won't be long. I was prepping the next bit and had a palm-meets-forehead moment. *thump*

'Fig, you silly idiot, you wrote a preface!' Then I had to stay up a couple more hours to properly prep that.

Honestly, I should have slept in longer, but I woke up allergic. *cries tears of allergicness because the antihistamine hasn't kicked in yet*

A U-Day bar brawl w/ a twist of Rayne--YES! This is exactly what I needed. Thank you Fig! Looking forward to reading the rest, epic, eh?! Something to look forward to during my pending mental heatlth summer vacation. XD

Keep smiling in anticipation. More is on its way.

Epic, yes, as in already over 55,000 words and growing fast. lol

Have I mentioned to y'all that I lurked in the 'ship for rather a long time before my first post?

I mostly need to find the time to type, edit and post. *deep breath* I can do that.

Nicely done, nicely done!

and, as your evil-alter-muse, I give this prompt (for when you have time.)

Metempsychosis! When the soul of one recently deceased person jumps into the body of another recently deceased person or animal. Think "Ligaea" by Poe. (just realized this has the makings for one angsty fic. thus, my challenge is to make it non-angsty, as well!)

The only reply I can give to this is ROTFLMAO. You are evil.

I snagged my sister's Poe Reader and looked up "Ligaea."

Challenge fulfilled and posted as a prose-poem. (aka drabble)

It was one of those mind boggling, earth shattering moments. The kind of moment that doesn’t pass, but rather lingers on in the things it changes.

Beautiful and beautifully written. I think this will be quite a nice diversion from my own massive levels of angst >;0)
